Restoring Love

The fluorescent heart lit with joy,
A tiny golden rose in the chest’s quiet court
A rare bloom.
The birth of poetic love in a hollow heart.
I touched the lips of petals and felt
The grandeur of a spring festival
Suddenly, a fountain across the desert.
As I waited since time unknown,
Today, dawn knocked at my door.
I woke with a warm suffix:
Her infatuated, deer-like eyes
They led me to unveil love’s horizon.
I looked at her,
Warm blood streaming through my veins,
The emptiness turned to joy
Her presence restored aesthetic love
