On that blackened night, where faith lay shattered,
Stars trembled as if woken by whispers of despair.
Fish unfurled their phantom wings,
soaring in forgotten skies,
While weary does dance in desert shadows.
That night, a moonless new moon gleamed
with alabaster grace,
And in the tempest of my flesh, three noble courtesans
Kissed venom into my veins, their touch a fevered dream
Of rivers unseen, flowing through my burning chest.

Walls of dreams crumbled to dust,
Memories scattered, each shard an echo of wonder.
Kneeling in awe, I marvelled at my desires undone,
While on the horizon, lifeless forms wandered,
Graveyards stirring to the rhythm of forgotten lives.
Human apes, shackled by their tender bonds,
Knelt in devotion to the gods of dominion,
Ascending into the hollowed silence of oblivion.

Faith faltered that night on the new moon’s pale expanse.
Trees stood still, their solitude a dirge for lost belief,
And across the endless plains,
a voiceless quiet reigned,
Whispering of brothels born from dreams undone.
The floral bed of a honeymoon, once sweet, now shattered
By the cruel hands of time and trust betrayed.

Rain gathered in trembling palms,
Falling from a sky too dim to mourn.
The black night collapsed into a tempest of unrest,
Its shadow an echo of my fleeting faith.
Oh, how the world spun in its transient embrace!
Silent cities bore witness, their spires untouched,
As birds wove restless nests on empty minarets,
Encircling the void with restless wings.
